Jared Glass, a TD with Triggerfish Animation Studios in South Africa (the studio behind Zambezia), has released into the wild a plugin manager for Nuke called, well, Plugin Manager.
For those who use Nukepedia and other sites to download Gizmos and Plugins only to find out that there’s little for them to do with the stuff if they don’t know code, this is the tool for them.

So it’s finally here. Nuke 7 was released Friday the 30th of November and what a wonderful Christmas (or Hanukah or whatever other festival of lights celebration you’re into) present it is for all of us.
They pulled all the stops at The Foundry for this release. Nuke is going to be a lot more stable, powerful, and the amount of things you’ll be able to do internally without going to an external application, just seems to grow more and more.

ASSIMILATE has created a new Freeware and Shareware section on their ASSIMILATE Store. The first item in that section is SCRATCH2Nuke.
SCRATCH2Nuke is a set of Python based scripts that exhibit the extensibility of SCRATCH through the use of XML. It allows you to create a bridge to pass both MetaData and images originating in SCRATCH to Nuke (By The Foundry) and back to Scratch via XML and the Global Watch Folder.
